Lilly Barrack – At first glance it is clear that Lilly Barrack infuses creativity into each of her one-of-a-kind, handmade necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. Such creativity is likely a reflection of her background, the daughter of an engineer and an artist, her university art education, and her extensive travels through Africa, Greece and Europe. These influences have caused some to regard her bold choices - gemstones in their natural state and hand-forged silversmithing - as “sculptural jewelry” with a “free spirited effect”.

A world-renowned artist, Lilly’s built quite a following after 20 years in the business with her geometric, simple jewelry imbued with honesty - raw stones, organic shapes - and power - unexpected designs, twists and turns for everyday wear. Individually handmade, each piece is created at Lilly’s studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico by skilled Native American and South American silversmiths who forge heavy gauge sterling silver (and sometimes solid 14kt gold or bronze) with hand-picked stones. Ever socially conscious, Lilly notes that her manufacturing process uses less chemicals and that her sterling silver comes from post-consumer sources instead of mines. Her “local first” philosophy means that every part of her jewelry production occurs in Albuquerque, strengthening not only her state economy but our nation’s as a whole. Lilly and her team are proud to create handcrafted, truly unique pieces that are not only sustainable, but contribute to our desire to be set apart from the rest.
